Israelis question government's security policies after last attacks

In the last three weeks, 14 people were killed in four separate attacks, three of which were armed. And two of these attacks took place in Tel Aviv. Last Thursday evening, April 7, three Israelis were killed on one of the busiest streets of Tel Aviv. This attack, which caused a shocking effect in the city, has brought a great fear to the society and a stream of criticism against the government. Daphne, 23, a resident who came from France and settled in Tel Aviv about 7 years ago, said while she could not imagine such an attack taking place in any other city, she was very surprised that it was in Tel Aviv. "You still think you are safe and even more so in Tel Aviv, because it's like we're living in a bubble in Tel Aviv. There are so many young people. And we try continue to live even there are a lot of things which are very hard in this country. We want to keep joy. But you know, the fact that It's really like made me realize that we are not safe anymore in this country," she said. Pointing out that these and similar situations have continued for more than 50 years, Daphne said: "I don't know is there any solution for that but I hope they will understand what happened here.
