Lin-Manuel Miranda, the actor and the creator of the Broadway musical Hamilton sang New York, New York' along with the cast of the production outside the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City ahead of the reopening of the show on Tuesday, September 14. Some other Broadway shows including The Lion King and Wicked also re-opened that night after eighteen months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic..
