THE PEARL, QATAR - 2017: A view of the artificial island known as The Pearl that spans nearly 4 million square meters jutting out from the city of Doha, 350 metres offshore of Doha's West Bay lagoon. It is said to create over 32 kilometres of new coastline upon completion for use as a residential estate expected to house over 18,000 dwellings and 45,000 residents by 2018, believed to cost $15 billion when completed.
