Israeli soldiers celebrate on June 09, 1967 in Jerusalem the conquest by Israeli troops over Jordan, the Wailing Wall in the eastern part of the Holy City. 05 June 1967, Israel launched a massive air assault that crippled Arab air capability. Israel controlled the Sinai peninsula within three days, concentrated on the Jordanian border, capturing Jerusalem's Old City, and on the Syrian border, gaining a hold on the strategic Golan Heights.
