A small group of mountain gorillas are sitting among pile of vines. A silverback is seen at right side of the picture. He is sitting in side view. He is looking over shoulder towards camera. The young mountain gorilla is sitting in front of the group in front view and it is crossing its arms. A female gorilla in front is looking towards camera also. Other gorillas around are sitting peacefully. The focus is on the group in front. They are from Kwitonda family. The focus is on gorillas. Mountain gorillas live in Virunga Massif which is the chain of volcanoes. These volcanoes have the border of Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. Only ten mountain gorilla families are open to visit. Kwitonda family is one of them. Mountain gorillas are social animals, they live as family groups, the leader of the group is silverback.
