Young eco tourists swimming with wild endangered species Whale Shark (Rhincodon typus) in the sea - Stock-Video

Andaman sea, Krabi province, Thailand - January 4 2020: Several young people are swimming/snorkeling in the Ocean with a young wild Whale Shark (Rhincodon typus), a once in a lifetime experience which rarely occurs in the wild. The young people are representative of the new generation of Eco Tourists who spend their time and money on authentic experiences and getting back to nature. Whale Sharks are pelagic filter-feeding carpet sharks feeding almost exclusively on Plankton and small fish. Whale sharks are the largest fish in the Ocean (this one is a Juvenile approximately 3.5m in length) and classed as an Endangered Species on the IUCN red list due to being hunted for their meat, fins and liver oil.
