VOICED: The Defence Secretary Philip Hammond led the charge today as the Ministry of Defence launched it's biggest drive for decades to recruit army reservists. The government needs to sign up 30 thousand by 2018 -- as part of plans to cut the regular army. But the defence secretary was forced to defend the proposals, saying 'it's not a question of hiring manpower on the cheap. Sky News Reporter Stephen Douglas has this.
