Security Minister at trade fair; ***SOME FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY*** Baroness Neville-Jones (Security Minister) interview SOT - need to take all measures we can to reduce our vulnerability / have to have intelligence base / need to know, prepare and protect ourselves against terrorists / technologies we are looking at today are relevant to all those phases of work / we aim to put protective shield round ordinary life / don't think people should be alarmed / using technology to benefit their safety / is commerical and economic benefit to this country to advance this technology as it is needed worldwide - these technologies are to do with how you would know what was coming at you so could better prevent attack / technologies here are also about policing / law enforcement needs to keep control so demonstrations can remain peaceful - need to take precautions against Mumbai type attack / need to be prepared and able to deal with what is coming
