"Say No To Islamophobia" - Protest in New York City

NEW YORK, NY – MARCH 24: In light of the recent mass gun shooting terrorist attack at the Christchurch in New Zealand, Muslims, Christians and Jews gathered in midtown Manhattan's Times Square for an Anti-Islamophobia rally and march. Among the issues discussed where Trump's controversial Travel Ban (AKA ‘Muslim Ban’), white supremacy, anti-immigrant matters, etc. Demonstrators criticized Presidents Donald Trump’s decision to move the Israeli Embassy to Jerusalem. The event also commemorates The Great March of Return which references what the Palestinians refer to as the Nakba, or Catastrophe - a reference to the forced removal of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and villages to clear the way for Israel's establishment in 1948.
