Cutting Oak Wedges with a Bandsaw and Jig ( Loopable video with audio ) - 4K Stock-Video

Part of a series following the installation of a new air dried Oak Soleplate as part of the restoration of a 17th century Farm House in Suffolk, UK. A Soleplate is the horizontal timber at the bottom of the wall of a timber frame house. Sitting on top of a Limestone plinth. In a restoration the Soleplate must be jacked in under the tenon joints of the repaired vertical studs and then the remaining Limestone plinth built up under the Soleplate. ( this will be shown in the following series ) The clips in the series are a mixture of real time and then time-lapse most with audio and follow the process over several weeks from start to finish.
