TO GO WITH AFP STORY BY ISABELLE WESSELINGH Romanian artist Oana Farcas works at the Fabrica de Pensule (The Brushes Factory) in Cluj-Napoca city some 480 kms northwest from Bucharest on June 3, 2010. Cluj, a multicultural town know for the Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF), is also reknowned on the international contemprary arts scene. Opened in late 2009 on the site of a brush factory competing against Chinese production, the Fabrica de Pensule is of the most interesting artistic experiences in Europe. The four-story building, between industrial area and pavilions, contains studios for painters, sculptors, designers as well as galleries and performance spaces.
