(Original Caption) 8/25/1934-Washington, D.C.: Lynwood "Schoolboy" Rowe, Detroit Tigers' ace hurler, took his place in the Baseball Hall of Fame by equaling the American League hurling record with his sixteenth consecutive victory scored in this game against the Washington Senators. Henry "Hank" Greengerg is shown out at first during the second inning. Greenberg had a lot to do with the victory, as his homer tied the score in the ninth. The Tigers finally won, 4-2.
