(Original Caption) Tod Ensign (left) an attorney for the People's Business Commission, and Jeremy Rifkin (center) and Ted Howard, co-directors of PBC and authors of Who Should Play God?: The Artificial Creation of Life, announce at a news conference here 3/7 that they are seeking a federal court order calling for the immediate processing of their requests under the Freedom of Information Act of all federally-funded research on asexual reproduction of mammals, including human beings; specifically human cloning. They seek the identities of scientists and cell-donors who may have already created a human clone and to discover the techniques by which such cloning may have been accomplished.
