Uyuni Train Graveyard

UYUNI, BOLIVIA - MAY 23: A 2 kilometer long line of old steam locomotives and carriages lie in the Uyuni desert. It was built by British engineers at the end of the 19th century. They were used primarily by mining companies for 50 or so years until the 1940's when the industry collapsed. It was a link that allowed companies to transport ore to the ports on the Pacific Ocean.
