BANTUL, INDONESIA: TO GO WITH STORY "Indonesia-quake-1year-housing-dome,sched" A man shows a destroyed house in the old part of Ngelepen village in Bantul, 20 May 2007 nearby the New Ngelepen village where dome houses were built after 140,000 houses were destroyed a year ago by an earthquake. With its white domes and neat yards, Nglepen village in central Indonesia draws plenty of curious visitors. But residents of Nglepen 27 May 2007 in the lush green farming district of Sleman don't seem to mind that their homes have become a tourist attraction. A US-based group and the World Association of Non-Government Organisations, offered to build the earthquake-resistant domes in the wake of the disaster.
