Extinction Rebellion Dirty Scrubbers old fashioned washer women in curlers wash and launder their dirty money and greenwash stains outside the Bank of England in the City of London financial district in a performance designed to highlight the corruption of big business and banking on 9th September 2020 in London, United Kingdom. The activists shouted out for people to come from the banks and to bring their dirty money to be cleaned in their washing machines. Extinction Rebellion is a climate change group started in 2018 and has gained a huge following of people committed to peaceful protests. These protests are highlighting that the government is not doing enough to avoid catastrophic climate change and to demand the government take radical action to save the planet.
