Protest Against Death Penalty

Dozens of activist from Migrant Care organization held a protest outside Saudi Arabia embassy in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 20, 2018. They condemned the execution by the Saudi Arabian government for the work of Indonesian migrant Muhammad Zaini Misrin on Sunday, 18 March 2018 local time, which was considered a human rights violation, because Zaini confessed that he did not commit the murder, but Saudi authorities pressed him to admit. In fact, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, the authority of Saudi Arabia did not deliver mandatory cunsular notification related to the execution.
