Recently National Geographic nominated Conguillío National Park among the 10 most beautiful forests on the planet. The BBC called this National Park one of the last refuges in the world to preserve the landscape where the dinosaurs lived. In this place part of the documentary "Walking with Dinosaurs" was filmed, and in 1980 it was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
