A journalist uses a smartphone equipped with a so-called "Google Cardboard" mount to use it as a VR (virtual reality) device for trying out a new offer developed by Google's platform "Google Arts & Culture" and the Museum of Natural History (Naturkundemuseum) in Berlin on September 13, 2016 at the museum. - In cooperation with natural history museums all over the World, "Google Arts & Culture" launched a new offer that makes possible a new approach to the exhibits, for example with virtual tours, 360° videos or interactive apps. The "Google Arts & Culture" platform, wich is, according to own informations, collaborating with hundreds of cultural institutions worldwide, aims to make digitally accessible those institutions' collections.
